For this exercise, we were presented with a sheet of pictures and given 2 hours to create a story based around it...
(This story is based on a picture of a man...)
Chicken, two breasts of, whole; Bacon, smoked, six rashers of; Two peppers, red and yellow, diced; Boursin cheese, garlic and herb flavour, one packet of.
The chicken is cut in half like a bap, with the cheese and peppers thickly spread inside.
The chicken bap is then sealed with three rashers of bacon finely wrapped around each breast, packaged in tin foil and allowed to cook for 40mins.
The trick is to release the chicken from the foil after this so the bacon can crisp.
The flavour is light to the palette with a succulent meaty combination, however not overpowering.

He met Madelaine at that bar this very night, some 14 years ago.
They danced to Marvin Gaye.
She was wearing that cute red number with the stilettos, and that gorgeous colour on her lips that had made him overwhelmingly want to kiss her that first time.
He can remember the way she smelt.
Oh what a smell...
It reminded him of growing up near the edge of Lille, and how the breezes from the fields hit the excitement of the city!
Spaghetti, one packet of; Lean steak mince, five hundred grams of; Tomatoes chopped, one tin of; Two onions, red and white, chopped; Garlic, sliced, three cloves of;
One carrot, peeled, chopped; Mushrooms, sliced, one handful of; Ketchup, three dollops of; Red wine, one glass of.
Fry mince until brown, allowing juices to run out then add all veg.
Fry until moist.
Add can of tomatoes and wine.
Allow to reduce for 20mins.
Put in oven.
Bake for one hour.
He remembered how they used to fuck.
Her so wild, anytime, anywhere.
They were at the beach and just had to go into the sea.
Her riding him, with the natural rhythm of the waves.
Kids with families all around, them just another young couple, embraced and in love.
Except he was about to cum.
Two pears, peeled, chopped in half; Red wine, two glasses of; Ice cream, two boules of.
Let the peeled pears poach in the wine, simmering for over half an hour until satched and soft.
Serve with ice cream.
He had noticed the herpes about three months ago, when he found he could not stop scratching.
Then the pain of peeing started, followed by the odious discharge that accompanies as a by-product.
Every piss becoming a living agony.
He wondered who it was that she had been with.
Who had so caught her eye?
What line, what car had sealed the deal?
Had she moaned as they fucked, allowing this intruder access to all the secrets of her perfect body.
This viper poisoning the apple.
His apple.
His love.
His lust for life.
Finishing his cigarette, he swigs his now cold coffee, letting the bitter taste engulf his taste buds.
He knows what he's going to do.
Taking his time, he'll carefully lay out the sugar cubes.
Two drops.
Maybe three.
Possibly four.
Allow the arsenic to soak for 3 to 4mins, turning the sugar an ugly, dirty brown.
She likes sugar in her coffee, at least three lumps...
After all too much sugar is definitely bad for you.

Estate Agent with a difference.
So this was the final piece for this project.
I wanted to create the feel of a glossy company brochure, that you would find in the reception of some wonderful building, or be sent as a perspective client.
What I was aiming for, was a brochure that advertised the estate agent as 'The' company that had no limits or restrictions.
I was having a discreet attempt at advertising the 'Afterlife'...
The model was to represent an almost childlike creativity. It reminds the viewer of a baby's mobile above their cot (desirable to the baby but unobtainable at that stage).
It also represents the structure of the company:
On the outside, the clouds represent the vastness of the sky/ being up high as well as it being unobtainable; you can be high in the sky but it is not something you can touch or contain.
The doorway is to welcome the viewer into that space, letting you into that impossible place.
The window is to represent Geometric Oscillating Device............ (wonder what that means?!) that watches over the whole operation.
I wanted to create a concept whereby a person was given limitless space to manipulate and create whatever they wanted within that space. It would be an unbeatable experience!
If I would do the project again, I would make the brochure much easier to understand and much more welcoming, with maybe bigger models or a slightly cleverer approach.
I still like what I've done though!
it's all part of the process... we all love lookin down... all we want is some success but the chance is never around....
I had so much fun on this project! The team I was with were really proactive and we had so many ideas!
These photos are from some of our early ideas, where we were basing our image (estate agents) on the way we were perceived by the public - i.e. genuinely great reactions!
We wanted to just focus on the face (hence the weird set-up... students don't have many resources... but we have tables... in the studio!)

We had a set up where it wasn't obvious WHEN we were taking pictures, so the reactions are not staged (and when they were it was easy to spot!).
POSTCARD - Pure Evil
Internationally famous stencil artist, has his studio / shop in Old St, and this was just a really cool (neon) tag - effortlessly simple design but still totally recognizable!
POSTCARD - Repetition
I love this as a style. Repetition of either a rat or a rabbit. Both are common symbols of multiplicity and this is just a very tidy sticker.
